Our ‘Point of Service’ android tablet uses Capacitive Touch Technology making it ideal for use in a public environment. The tablet is powered completely by mains. Just like the Info Point, it turns on when power is connected and turns off when power is disconnected, allowing you to simply power both on/off via the mains as you wish. The 12v 1A DC power cable can be secured behind the supplied security casing.
The custom version of Android 7.1 allows you to enable / disable the Android Navigation bar. This lets you lock the unit down to a single application and keep users there. Once disabled, the supplied remote can be used to navigate the operating system and re-enable navigation.
The 10.1″ (256mm) tablet has a 1280 x 800 HD Display and comes with two mounting options:
- Tilt mount to a wall or table
- Stand with base plate to bolt to the ground
