Info Point supports 3D models as one of it’s premium features. Drag and drop your .glb file (easily exported from .obj files) into the Media manager. Now select the file to add a caption and accessibility text. You can also add a poster (image whilst the 3D model loads), plus environment and skybox files.
In the parameters tab you can set how the model loads, the shape of window (aspect ratio) that the 3D model will appear in and whether the model will automatically auto rotate upon loading,
You can also add hotspots but you’ll need some understanding of how 3D models work to implement this correctly. Info Point uses the Y as the vertical axis. You may find modelviewer.dev/editor useful to work out hotspots positions. Hotspots can also have labels with the option to link to other Info Point pages for more detailed information. In this section you can also choose the colour of the hotspot and the label.
Insert 3D models into a page as you would any other content segment. It is within the segment that you can choose whether the label appears automatically or needs to be tapped. Hiding labels is advised if you have multiple hotspots.
