An interactive multi-player quiz to test local knowledge.
The ‘We Are Northampton’ exhibition, designed by Ugly Studios, celebrated the town’s rich heritage and gave visitors from near and far an opportunity to explore Northampton’s sense of identity and place, between July 2021 and January 2022. Displays explored places of special significance and highlighted the unique characteristics of the borough’s different neighbourhoods.
Info Point took centre stage at the end of the exhibition where visitors were invited to take part in an interactive quiz – projected onto a large wall – to test their local knowledge. Visitors worked through a series of multiple-choice questions on screen, using their phone as a keypad to select the answer. Multiple users were able to join in and work together to pass each level. Players were rewarded with bonus material on screen when they answered enough questions correctly. The highlight was the chance to listen to the classic 1980s pop song Energy in Northampton! Not heard of it? Neither had we!
